I keep getting a stop error everytime I attempt to play video, and it tells me to uninstall any new software or hardware and turn off bios shadowing. I dont know how to turn off bios cach shadowing, or why I keep getting the stop error.

Help?

It is an IBM T23 laptop.

When you start your laptop, there will be a message at the bottom of the black screen press the F1 key before the screen disapears

your memory sounds cooked.
did you get a 0230 error code on start up ?
enter your bios and switch of shadow or get some more ram.

or you just need more ram

I think it is your OS or your memory is destroyed
