ok my fav question lol well the place where i get my background is whaterverlife.com they have LODS OF THEM all u do is click get the code copy it then when you go to myspace click edit profile then under about me click paste and there u go also on whatever life they have cute oics just copy the code then past it under wherever u want it to go o and remember to click save all changes

Myspace allows you to use html, css, and I believe javascript codes (possibly others but I'm not really sure).
Colors are done by surrounding ur text in font tags

Is one example. (although this way is not reccomended and will soon be removed, you might as well use it since your a begginner)
Css can also be used for colors and much more.
