disable spysweepers anti virus function, it will clash with avg and give you trouble in stead of avoiding it. Install a firewall and your good, something like zonealarm firewall or comodo firewall (both free)
or use linux and never get viruses and spyware again

Yea.You need to remove one of the anti virus programs. Running two at once will cause conflicts. I recommend keeping the AVG.

Yes... a firewall xp's is crap if i where you id put my comp behind a router (known as a hardware firewall) and a software firewall

you should be fine just dont go towards any free music downloading sites or trojans. I would make sure your Windows Firewall is turned on too(by default it is)
