I put the ethernet cord into the ethernet slot on my modem to use the net on my laptop which ihave been doing for the last few days. Now, when i try to unplug it , it wont come out!. Its stuck....Any ideas how i can remove it without damaging anything?

ive actually had the same problem...

i used a pair of needlenose pliers & had my friend hold on to the modem while i pulled the cord firmly out of the base, just make sure to pull it out straight & not at an angle

I don't know how you managed to make it fit! I've heard of people accidentally putting regular phone cords in Ethernet ports, but not the other way around.

Just press down on the flexible tab portion of the RJ45 head and pull.... maybe use needlenose pliers.

Try pushing it in gently as you press upon the release tab. Then try to remove it.
