It's actually not a problem with your Windows Vista Machine. The problem is with Internet Explorer version 7. Banking websites have been dragging their feet for a long time. They do not want to spend billions of dollars to change their banking programs coding to conform to the way IE 7 works on websites. You and thousand of other people are in the same boat, and there really isn't much you can do about it until the Banking industry changes their programs.

You will probably have to hook up a windowsXP machine with IE 6 on it to continue doing your banking on line.

Check a few things:
Try another site.
You may temporarily turn off IE7's fishing filter.
Clear all cookies and browsing histories
Check DNS Settings
Check Firewall settings
Check last updates downloaded for differences or change in behavior or performance
relax the security with Windows Vista BitLocker

Did this help?

Check Windows Vista's firewall. That may be a culprit. The best solution, however, is to remove Vista and replace it with XP. Vista is a very bad operating system compared with XP, don't let the pretty graphical effects fool you.

Return the PC you took to the rightful owner, then buy your own. If you're still having problems, ask again later.
