Can someone help me here? I was on my 360 page, and all of a sudden,a box popped up and it said : stack overload : line 8.
What does this mean? I turned the computer off,and then restarted it,and the box was gone, but I don't want to ruin my computer. What do I do if this happens again? Thank you.

what box! where did it come from? if it's from the browser then it's probably an error at the website which is unlikely..
it may be a process that was running in the background and raised and error and it happened when you opened your 360 page but had nothing to do with it.
you may check 360 again, it won't harm your computer.
next time you get the error, try to locate where it's coming from. open the task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and right click on the message box in Applications and Go to Process, then google its name.

Hmmm I would be doing virus and spyware scans. You aren't going to physically hurt the computer, the worst that can happen is that you toast windows and it has to be re-installed.

If you haven't already, make friends with a nerd who can help you.

You don't have enough memory. A stack error is very uncommon these days.

well, I don't know what you're using, but go to line 8 and check for any errors.
