how do you take a screenshot of your desktop with the icons and stuff?? Like if you have a compaq laptop, there is no key that says prt sc or print screen... i think its under the insert but i cant press it and it doesnt work...

Can anybody help me?? Please??

it seems like the second stick of 1GB memory is causing tcpip,sys errors. my two choices (and there are probably more) are 1, W2K does not see the second stick and it just being there is causing the crashes; or 2, the stick is bad. both are Kingston 1GB sticks, no more than two months old on a two month old computer. I have the second stick off the MB to see if the crashes stop and knock on wood, they have for now.

Hello! I have a small glitch that I am hoping will be really easy to fix! I have been adding items to my shop for years with no problem, when suddenly, 3 days ago I have been unable to get the small images to upload to the site via the add item page. I can add the item to the shop - but all I get as an image is the red x in a white box. My site went live 4 years ago, and not much has been changed 'back stage' since then. Could this be a problem? Is updating complicated?

I did not create the site myself, my father did it before he died...I can add items and do general 'admin' stuff, but all this talk of source code and allsorts is beyond my knowledge.

Any pointers would be appreciated, please!

I recently bought a new S-video cable to connect my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop to my TV (just a regular CRT type) When I connect the cable the picture quality is excellent, but everything is in black and white! Ive tried using different scart sockets, PAL, NTSC, and fiddling with the display settings on my laptop and I still cant get any colour! Please help. Thanks

I scan with Avast Anti-virus, Spybot, and Spyhunter. Avast always finds the trojan and supposedly fixes the problem... but it keeps coming back. Every time I restart the computer I get a warning about it. It does this even when I restart the computer without even going on any websites, so I know I'm not getting it from any sites, Is it just hanging around? Is something else making it come back? Please help... I've had to restore my computer TWICE in the last two months because of trojans. All of my security settings are on 'high', so I don't know why I keep getting these things!

I have a Gateway w/Pentium 4, 2 Gig, 512 MB RAM and 30 Gig hard drive. Operating system is Windows XP. This computer does not have USB2. I do have an adapter that gives me that, but it plugs in where my air card, from T-Mobile plugs in so I can't use both at the same time. T-Mobile is my only source of an internet connection.

My uses are:
1. Internet connection while mobile. ( I live in a motohome and don't have a land line. WiFi works when available.
2. GPS while traveling across USA & Canada.
3. Down loading photos from camera.
4. General word processing.
5. Internet banking.

Everything works fine, just a bit slow.

What should I look for and what should I replace this computer with? My only limitations are, new must be a laptop.
