Connecting to an external monitor to check the system board is still working, then detach LCD, clean all connectors and test inverter's output with a multimeter before replacing new LCD.

You need to take it to a electronic store/support place and have them check it out. Its hard for people to figure out whats wrong with it unless they are there working on it themselves.
