AT&T will supply a 2wire modem/router with wireless if you ask when you sign up. If you didn't get one just call and talk to them or buy a wireless router.

You can do one of two things, Get your own wireless router and get AT&T/Yahoo DSL only, allowing them to provide the DSL "modem". Or get a wireless modem/DSL router from AT&T/Yahoo when you sign up for Yahoo DSL.
I suggest the first. Here's why:
I had a client that wanted to use yahoo Messenger.
While using Yahoo DSL with the wireless router provided by Yahoo, she could not access Messenger. We contacted Yahoo support, I unlocked ports on the router, I turned off the firewall feature on the router and so on. This went on for a while. I tried 100s of possible solutions. Nothing worked. I finally brought over my wireless router and DSL "modem" and showed her that with her computer and the right hardware it would work. It did.
This is why I am not thrilled with the wireless router/DSL "modem" being all in one package.
Even though the hardware was all supplied by Yahoo and the application that would not function was a Yahoo program, Yahoo was like "so what?" When it came to fixing the issue.
Now back to the original question. You need:
1. DSL from Yahoo
2. DSL "modem"
3. Wireless router
4. Wireless adapters for each system you want to connect.
Install the wireless adapters for all of your systems first.
Install the DSL "modem" make sure you have filters on all of the phone lines.
Connect the supplied Ethernet cable from the port on the DSL "modem" to the WAN or Internet or WWW port (blue) on the wireless router.
Turn the DSL modem on, turn the wireless router on, reboot all you systems.
You should now have internet access via wireless on all of your computers.
