i love garageband, but everyone has it on their macs, and i want it really bad, but i have a windows 2000..any suggestions?

you are out of luck on Windows.
the best you can do is buy a Mac.
sorry i don't have any more encouraging news for you about Garageband.
of course there are sorta similar programs for windows, Cubase & Protools come to mind, but,in my estimation. they still fall short of Garageband in many areas and in other areas are overkill for hobbyists/non-power users.

Sorry, there's no way to do it. OS X software just won't work on a PC. You can find similar Windows software, though. Fruityloops comes to mind. You can download the demo and see if you like it.
