There is a website that I want to block on my computer and I don't know how to block it without it affecting anything else on my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can I remove the hard drive from my broken laptop and attach it to my dekstop to access files? I've heard there's a piece of kit that allows me to connect the laptop HDD once rmeoved to the desktop machine. Anyone know whta it's called?

I have the SD card inserted into the computer, but when I go to My Computer and click on the Removable Disk (F:) it just has a DCIM folder and a MISC folder and both are empty so there aren't any pictures to view. I want to add these pics to my computer to email, store, etc and don't know what to do.

Why do people send other people virus? How fun it for them to damage other people's computers. I'm so angry. I got a 2 months old 250GB HD damaged just because I thought I was updating a program and it was a virus!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

OK. Basically, I have an IBM Thinkpad laptop. It has had its problems but I've fixed most of those with updated drivers. Everything was working fine and all of a sudden my touch pad stopped working. I reinstalled the drivers and tried a few things and none of them seem to work. When I use an external mouse, it works.

I was recently sent the game Carmageddon 2 via email from a friend of mine. I actually purchased the game when it first came out several years ago, and then gave it to him as a gift. Anyways, I have Windows Vista and when I try to play the game, it states that the game cannot run on Windows NT. Is there a way to get around this, considering it actually isn't NT but Vista? Thank you.

Mame says the following
Games that support .CHD [compressed hunks of data] images [Max Force, Killer Instinct I & II, Area 51, Vicious Circle, War Gods, beatmania games, and items in the CHD folder view on the left pane] have to have their ROMs and .CHD files in a very specific directory structure. The single large .CHD file needs to go in the \ROMs\gamename\ directory, and have the *.CHD extension, e.g. \ROMs\area51\area51.chd. These games also have ROMs, these go one level up in the \ROMs folder proper like any other game. So in the end two files should exist for these games one *.zip in the \ROMs folder and the *.chd in a sub-directory named for the game.

I have no idea what a sub- drectory is and have no idea how to get this to work PLEASE HELP!!!

Well, about 5 minutes ago i received an email (on hotmail) from someone very important in my junk mail and because the "mark as safe" and "mark as unsafe" buttons are so RIDICULOUSLY close, i clicked the wrong one (mark as unsage) and my EMAIL DISSAPEARED. if I plug the headphones into the output for the speakers, they start doing the popping sound also. So it seems to be something wrong with that jack. I have a cord for cable internet I'd like to plug into my computer at home, but my computer is rather outdated and will only accept the smaller phone cord size. I am using Windows 2000, and the computer was freezing during start-up. It froze the most when it was turned on the first time that day (after sitting off overnight). It would still freeze after being on for quite some time, just not as much. We reinstalled Windows, replaced the batteries and replaced the Hard Drive but it still freezes. Any ideas?

ok let me make this clearer ... i have a old desktop that i use limewire on ... now i have a new laptop and i don't want to download limewire on it beacuse it'll give it viruses ... so if i burn songs that i download from limewire to a cd ... then use my laptop and ripp the songs ... will that give my maptop viruses or not???
