I was recently sent the game Carmageddon 2 via email from a friend of mine. I actually purchased the game when it first came out several years ago, and then gave it to him as a gift. Anyways, I have Windows Vista and when I try to play the game, it states that the game cannot run on Windows NT. Is there a way to get around this, considering it actually isn't NT but Vista? Thank you.

I tried the Compatibility thing...it still says "Sorry, not supported on Windows NT"

Vista has a built-in feature called Compatibility Mode. It allows older programs to run in Vista (sometimes.) But Vista has a long history of incompatibility, even with older Microsoft products. But it might work for you. Here's a short article that describes it:

You would have to use the help and support software to modify it. Get it to think that you are adjusting an older windows program to work on a newer windows program.
