does somebody know how to increase the size of a filed of access. I need a very big field where i have to put some abstracts of tesis.

are you talking about fields in MS Access? in that case you can use the type "MEMO". A memo field can contain huge amounts of text.
In SQL Server or Oracle you would use something like nvarchar.

Doesn't Access have a Memo type? That can hold more than 255 chars.
