My new laptop (woo) came with an AMD Turion 64 X2 processor and 32 bit Windows Vista

Does the 64 mean that its 64 bit and could technically run 64 bit Windows?

Thanks :)

Yep, but remember you need a 64 bit OS to make it work, and those aren't common.
