I am trying to play area 51 and carnevil in mame 32 but it wont work with the files in the roms folder?

Mame says the following
Games that support .CHD [compressed hunks of data] images [Max Force, Killer Instinct I & II, Area 51, Vicious Circle, War Gods, beatmania games, and items in the CHD folder view on the left pane] have to have their ROMs and .CHD files in a very specific directory structure. The single large .CHD file needs to go in the \ROMs\gamename\ directory, and have the *.CHD extension, e.g. \ROMs\area51\area51.chd. These games also have ROMs, these go one level up in the \ROMs folder proper like any other game. So in the end two files should exist for these games one *.zip in the \ROMs folder and the *.chd in a sub-directory named for the game.

I have no idea what a sub- drectory is and have no idea how to get this to work PLEASE HELP!!!

Okay good for you, You have read about what you should do. I glad. Now to help you out.

A Sub Directory would be in this case a Folder with in a folder. So you should have a folder for MAME (lets call it MAME) in side that folder you should have a folder named ROMS. And in the folder named ROMS you need to create a folders named:
a51sight4
area51
area51mx
area51t
carnevil

Those will be the folders you place your CHD files in (REMEMBER KEEP ALL FILES IN THE ROMS FOLDER ZIPPED, CHD, ROM, AND BIOS FILES)

Bellow I will list the Folders (name) then under the folders name I will list what CHD(s) should be in that folder and the size of the file I have:

And then you would need the roms for the games:

Note also that MAME reads:
Area51: Sight 4
THIS GAME DOESN'T WORK. You won't be able to make it work correctly. Don't bother.

All others run a bit choppy either sound is choppy and game runs okay or both are choppy.

not close ... when i was in LA is the closest lol... i saw a youtube video tho of these guys going as close as they can to area 51 and these two elder ladies were like on the side of the ride and the guys talked to the ladies and theyre like how do we get out of here and like the guys said follow us.. but then the ladies just VROOMED toward area 51 and they passed the no trespassing thing and the security went running after the ladies and i dont know what happend to those ladies.. scary...
