My surround sounds on my comp is so full of bass, its making my neighbors call the cops when I'm watching a movie.

the voices are so soft and muttled,
but the music and the guns and the bombs and zombies.... they're all too damn loud!!!!

Do you know some Good equalizing software?

Is there some stand alone equalizing software out there that will cut the bass out, run constantly and with any sound app I want when ever I want?

I recently posted a question as to how I can cluster my ordinary PCs that were sitting around collecting dust so I could get a little extra power in a Linux app. Here is the real Answer:

This is running (I spent all night on it) and I did not need infiniband. I use 3 PCs (family, kids gaming, my gaming), with Linux on them, but the slower ones needed some more power and since I had four more older ones in the basement in a box I wanted to cluster them. Well, it worked. If you use Linux and have a spare PC (and can afford a little higher electric bill), check out the link.

Linux is awesome. Yet another way to use an old computer by putting Linux on it.

My real question is this: will you forgive me for seeming so pompous in the last (infinband) question?

I'm getting a power supply upgrade from 250 W to about 400-500W becuase of my 8600 gt card. I just want to make sure that power supplies are compatible to all computers. For example, it won't overload my motherboard or something. I am currently using an hp a1740n.

Also, the requirements on the box of the graphics card said 325W power supply running on an intel core 2 extreme x6800. Does that make a difference? I am currently running an intel core 2 duo E6300.

When i have trying to connect Internet in my pc using dialup modem,it connects only with the speed of 33kbps and it offten disconnects. Earlier also i had this same problem with another Modem. Although i changed the modem also same problem continuing. So is there any solution for this problem???

i decided the other day to put a pass in bios, it saved and everything but when i tried to enter again in bios it promt me for pass and now i can't tipe it all, i tried many solutions on the net but nothing. i have a pc with an asrock motherboard.
i read that i should remove the battery or something but i could not do that....
please any solution would be welcomed and it would be better to be a software solution...

my comptuer works while it is plugged in it says that i have excellent signal strenth and i am sending out packets of activity but not recieving them, when i go into linksys easy link advisor and try to "unwire my computer" it says it cannot create a wireless profile on my computer.

I have a D-Link wireless network connection for my DSL internet. The host computer has Windows XP Home. Two other computers have Windows 2000 Pro. I want to know how to set up a network for one printer connected to the host computer. I want to be able to print from any of the three computers to the one printer using my wireless connection. I have no idea, so the most detailed answer will be picked as best. I'm starting from scratch with no idea what I'm doing. I know how to view the status of my D-Link router connections. My game opens in full screen but there is no option on the game to make it windowed so I can multitask...I think there is a key combination for this because I accidentally click a few buttons and it went windowed but the next time I opened it, it was fullscreen again!

Hi, I dont ever use my laptop anymore and im planning on selling it. I realize i can only install office 2003 on 3 computers with the same license. If i were to uninstall it from my laptop will that free up that license so I can use it on my main PC? Does it register online to let Microsoft know im uninstalling it and to let me install that same office program on another PC?

I'm in a dispute with a buyer on ebay's half.com. I think she's already received the item and is just trying to get it for free.
The only evidence I have is that one of the messages she sent me was directly from her e-mail to my e-mail. When it comes to ebay contact I only communicate to people through the ebay message system. That way my contact information can remain confidential. I never hit reply I always go to the website and click on contact buyer/seller. I have copies of all the messages I sent her, none of them have my e-mail address in them. The only other way I can think of is from the packaging slip that I sent with the package. That thing has my e-mail address on it. Is there any other way she could have gotten my e-mail address.

I am trying to put togethor a list of my karaoke CDs. I have two columns that need to stay tied togethor. I need to alphabatize the lists by each column, with one column being the artist and the other column being the song title. Ex- Sort column A (artists), but have the song titles in column B stay next to the original artist. Then I need to do the inverse and sort the column by song title, and have the artists change order to match the song titles. It seems supper simple, so I sure it can be done in EXCEL. Can anybody help me? Thank you.
