Signal strength shouldn't reduce (unless some of the adapter cards are interfering with the system - I have seen that)

However, the more that are connected the slower your system will get! You are dividing the network by more users.

Yes, Wirless router has a rated speed of 54Mbps.

Say you have 2 PC's communicating then they can communicate at only 27 Mbps each.

So as the number of Computers increases the pipe reserved for each computer decreases.

Say you have 54 computers connected to a Wireless router then you would have 1 Mbps pipes.

shouldnt reduce strenth but you stillhave a finite amount of trafic that can go in and out through the internet. even if you had 50 pc's on one accespoint they would get the same signal strenth if they were an equal distance from it. if they were all tryign to downloadna dn upload at the same time it could get laggy but between each other it should be pretty quick communication.
