I closed the lid of my MacBook, and it made the sound of the computer when it turns on and then I opened it and it took me to the login screen. Now when I open the Apple programs, it's like I'm opening them for the first time. My iTunes library is gone, my pictures are gone, my bookmarks from Firefox and Safari are gone. Anyone have any idea what happened? Or how I can fix it?

Hii friends,

I have a scanned image (jpg) of a document. I need to edit it in word (doc). So how can I convert it into word file? I have software, which can convert pdf file to doc file. If I can convert it jpg file to pdf file then the problem will b solved. Can any body advice me? And plz also tell me about the software for that.

Hi Guys!
I've got Lexmark prenter 4300 series, the cd driver works properly with window xp professional but it doesn't work with any vista, and I downloaded some driver in www.lexmark.co.uk
also doesn't work , please if somebody has the same pronter could tell me where can I download a driver for windows vista or show me the way? thanks

Have just purchased a wireless router for my pc. Is there anything I need to do to make it secure so no one else can use or see any of my details on it. On my connection logo it says encryption none. Suddenly my laptop is very slow. and i mean slow. it hardly moves. and i can't press on most buttons. like i can't answer on Yahoo!Answers because i can't see the "Answer" button anymore. no, i did not fifnish my daily limit, and i know where it was, but now it's disappeared, seriously.
and i can't press on tabs. like on facebook, i can't see who's online cause when i press the arrow next to the "Friends" nothing happens. and i can't post anything aswell. i want to write on someones wall and when i press post it doesn't work. it happens on everyones wall.
this all started at the SAME time. what should i do?

I keep getting an AOL spyware update window. I update it then I'm asked to reboot the computer.

Then another update comes on the following day and again the next day. Now I just press cancel instead of update.

How can I get the problem sorted? Please don't say get rid of it as I'm keeping AOL. I don't get any other problems apart from that and that has only been recently.

Please help if you can.

I have a 60 GB hard drive right now, and I have everything from that hard drive backed up on a external 120 GB hard drive. I though that I would be able to access my software from the external hard drive but now know that it is for backing up files only. I would like to know if I get a larger hard drive can i use the external hard drive to format the new hard drive without having to use all of the start-up disks? It is an Acer LCD moniter

It is only a small line but every time I am on my pc I can see it

The marker is one of those sharpie peremanent markers

I was told not to use any cleaner on the moniter screen.
