Hi I went to the UK Lexmark site, found the drivers you did here:-http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/downloads.cgi?ccs=227:5:0:479:0:0&searchLang=en&os_group=Windows%20Vista%20x64&target=

Try to uninstall the printer completely.
Then plug in your printer, let vista find it, when it asks for drivers ,let it search and it will install it for you.
I usually make sure I'm not online and have nothing else open.

I hope you get it sorted.

I have just visited the Lexmark website and Vista-compatible driver for your printer is available for download but it does take a bit of finding. I resorted to typing Vista into the Lexmark site search box and then selecting consumer inkjet printers (as opposed to business printers) and the 4300 is there in the list

Wait for Lexmark to provide Vista drivers on their web site.
