It is an Acer LCD moniter

It is only a small line but every time I am on my pc I can see it

The marker is one of those sharpie peremanent markers

I was told not to use any cleaner on the moniter screen.

Is there any thing I can do???

Try a little Isopropol alcohol on a paper towel. Do not rub hard, and repeat as necessary.

It may remove some of the anti-glare coating on the LCD, but will be less annoying.

Occasionally my laptop screen gets dirty (dirty fingers when I was pressing my finger on the screen), sometime it does obstruct your view to see on screen. My solution, the easiest way is to get a "Refresher Towel". Those are the ones that you get it from some restaurant to clean your hands (grab couple of them for future use). The best bet is to wrinkle that towel so it won't be too moisture when applied on your screen. After you've done that, get a dry cotton terry towel to remove streaks. I have stack full of them (got it from 747 aircrafts after arrivals). Those refresher towels usually contains SD Alcohol 40, Octoxynol 9, fragrance, Benzalkonium Chloride. Always check to see what it contains before you apply it to any computer screen. It does stay clean for while.
Best of Luck!

Eucalyptus oil removes marks made by markers from 99% of surfaces, I've had to use it on walls, windows and furniture and it worked brilliantly.

I'm not sure about the actual screen but nail polish remover gets rid of it, I had to use it when my 2yr old son drew all over my computer.

Replace the screen if it "bugs" you.
