Because your question is not accurate i had to give separate answers.
1) There is no version of Windows Vista called Premium.
2) Yahoo Messenger 8.1 is compatible with all the versions of Windows Vista.
3) The new Yahoo Messenger for Windows Vista will be available in the second quarter of 2007.
4) If you don't have sound at your PC or your microphone is not working, change your Sound Board or update the drivers on your current one by going to System Properties -> Device Manager.
