Computers & Internet - 3 June 2007

I have a Linksys (Cisco) WRT54G (802.11 B/G) Router hooked up to my cable modem.
I have another router (Compaq IPaq CP-2W 802.11B) in my bedroom that I would like to act as a bridge connecting to my main linksys router. It appears the Compaq IPaq Firmware doesn't support configuring it as a bridge. Is there any solution anyone aware that makes this possible? Thx in advance.

Hi everyone I have a:
Dell Optiplex GX520
pentium 4ht
Windows XP Professional version 2002 Service Pack(SP)2
4cpu 3.00GHz
0.99GB of ram
And drive C is 37.19GB
at here and I have a vista home update that I could put on there. I heard some bad things about it but I just woundering do I have enough space and will it run fastly!? Also I know I dont have hardly any hardrive space plus, I think I uesed about 31gb out of the 37 that I have. Also I dont think I could switch back to xp becuase I lost all the of the diskes it came with!
So should I install the vista!? Or keep the XP Professional?

I used to use Limewire a lot but now that I've got a different wireless network I can't. Its not something I can alter with the network either as its free and I should be grateful for what I am getting.

Does anyone know a good program that will allow me to control the volume on my computer, like the one that is on every computer, but allow me to adjust certain audio aspects (so i can enhance my music library without having to use a new program to organize my library, as im very pleased with my current program that came with my Mp3 player)? I want to enhance my audio on my computer but I dont want to spend the money on a new sound card or a X-Mod from creative, so it needs to be freeware.

I recently added more memory to my computer about a week ago, and things were working fine until last night after I turned my PC on, it looked like it was stuck on the Windows Logo the one that comes up when booting up. I waited for a good 10 minutes and it never went pass that and it did not showed any CPU activity. I rebooted the PC again, but this time I went thru the SAFE MODE, and could not find anything wrong anywhere, so I restarted again normal and there it goes again, stuck on the booting up Windows Logo.

I tried it a couple of times and I even left the PC over night booting up thinking it might need sometime to process something like an update or who knows what, but when I got up this mornining it was still stuck on the Windows Logo with no CPU activity at all.

Now all I can do is run my PC on Safe Mode and to my surprise everything works fine still except for the speakers.

Is there anything I can do to get it back to normal??

My k lite pro only connects to the one network on my laptop and it doesnt really bring up any downloads with that network. I have windows vista on my laptop and xp on my desktop and i dont have that problem with my desktop does anyone know how to fix this?

Im building a new pc rig and want to know if this will work out im buying an 8800gts and will eventually put in another but will the two cards fit on the motherboard? what if i put in other stuff like a sound card, and a network card? will it still all fit together without me having to mod anything?
