I have a Linksys (Cisco) WRT54G (802.11 B/G) Router hooked up to my cable modem.
I have another router (Compaq IPaq CP-2W 802.11B) in my bedroom that I would like to act as a bridge connecting to my main linksys router. It appears the Compaq IPaq Firmware doesn't support configuring it as a bridge. Is there any solution anyone aware that makes this possible? Thx in advance.

Turn off dhcp on the router. That will make it act like it's in bridge mode.

Nope, and the WRT54G standard firmware does not enable it to be a bridge also.

Generally most routers can not be configured to act as a bridge, most Access Points can, but not routers.
