I'm in a dispute with a buyer on ebay's half.com. I think she's already received the item and is just trying to get it for free.
The only evidence I have is that one of the messages she sent me was directly from her e-mail to my e-mail. When it comes to ebay contact I only communicate to people through the ebay message system. That way my contact information can remain confidential. I never hit reply I always go to the website and click on contact buyer/seller. I have copies of all the messages I sent her, none of them have my e-mail address in them. The only other way I can think of is from the packaging slip that I sent with the package. That thing has my e-mail address on it. Is there any other way she could have gotten my e-mail address.

The only other possible way I can think of is if she bought something from me 3 years ago which I severely doubt. Up until 3 years ago I always gave out my e-mail address to customers. Then I started to get phishes so I stopped.

I used USPS media mail. SO there was no tracking number. This is the first time I've ever done business on Half.com. I've tried calling the post office but they were no help. The problem half.com has already cited with her but they didn't give me the chance to show them this. I'm going to show them this but I'm trying to find every option she could have gotten my e-mail address. Next time I'm getting a tracking number.

i did a small experiment. I used the messages she sent me through ebay and hit the reply button. Her e-mail address was in the To: section although when it was sent it said amailer@half.com . Then I used one of the copies of the e-mails I sent her and clicked reply. It said amailer@half.com in the To: section.

check your packaging sheet to see if it does have your e-mail, if not then forward the e-mail to the appropriate dept for eBay, also as a ebay seller i always REQUIRE a signature when i send an item, if you have the shipping waybill you can go to DHL, UPS, AIRBORN websites and they will of course know if it was dropped off or not

other wise don;t know a way

Your right, that's the only way she could have gotten you're email address, and maybe even your physical address. She got the package, just trying to get slick!! Check with delivery service and see if they have delivered a package to that address. There should be a tracking number, even if she didn't sign for it, it will be in their records
