I just had my front brakes and rotors replaced less than a month ago. I was wondering what is going on, especially since I won't have any money for repairs for about 3 weeks. Is this something I might be able to wait on till then (not that I have a choice). Thanks.

ok, I bought a brand new Nissan Sentra (2k7) back in February. It is the beginning of October, and I feel that I have been neglecting her finish. I keep her very VERY clean, detailing weekly, amor-all insides, tire shine, everything! I wanted to wax my car, but after much research I see that there are some people who oppose waxing NEW cars. They say it destroys certain parts of the modern paint job. I just want to find some truth to all of this, and find out which is the best route for me to go. She is still very shiny, so i dont want to compromise that, i would just like to preserve the shine as much as possible! I thought waxing was to be done as often as possible, but now I'm very IF-fy on the subject, and dont want to RUIN anything. I bought Meguiar's Cleaner Wax, thinking it was a good way to go, and tried it on my g/f's Stratus, shined it up a lil bit, although it was a lil dull, and honestly cant really quite tell the difference. What should i use?! Please be thorough!!!!!

The point of application will be an Automotive workshop (garage).

It would be much better if you can provide the answer in details with all the parameters you have.

Thank You!!!

I own a late 2006/ 2007 Chevy Malibu. I purchased 10W-30 oil from the auto store and when I got home and went to check the oil, I noticed on the Oil Cap, it says 5W-30. The engine is a 6 cyl and it has auto-start. Also, I'm due for an oil change in about another 2000 miles (which probably doesnt matter). Will it be okay to use this type of oil? Will it have any effect on the gas mileage? Or will is 10W-30 oil better? Please help!!

1999 Chevy K-2500

Was puddle jumping and it died, sounded like it ran out of gas. Same thing happend, sputtering then died, couldnt get it to start. Killed battery a few times trying to get it to start.

It has:
Spark, Fuel, Good timing.

ANY idea's I would love. My buddy towed my truck home and I took all the sparkplugs out and cleaned, all wires are good. I was turning it over and my battery exploded so i'm going to try to get some feedback while my new battery charges.

Had a problem a while back. Clutch pedal went straight to the floor. Come to find out after taking tranny down that the clutch fork had slipped off the pivot ball. We replaced the clutch anyways. Got that taken care of and put the tranny back in, clutch pedal still go's to the floor. We Bled the system. Still nothing. I replaced the clutch master cylinder, and slave cylinder. Bled the system again. Still nothing. Have fluid coming out of the slave cylinder with no bubbles at all. There seems to be no pressure at all coming from master cylinder down to the slave cylinder, but i have fluid. I can push the rod into the slave cylinder and have someone press the clutch, and it still go's to the floor, with no resistance on the clutch pedal, or at the slave cylinder. I'm stumped. This is on a 1990 GMC K1500 4x4 pickup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of weeks ago my keyless entry remote that has worked fine for years stopped working. Around the same time (maybe exactly...), my car doors started automatically locking when I turned the key in the ignition. It has been at the shop recently...I'm not sure if they might have switched fuses or something. I replaced the batteries...still doesn't work. Please help!
(Please don't say "use the key!" I have 2 young children and when walking in a parking lot I do not feel comfortable letting go of their hands to put the key in the door!!)

I have a 1991 240 Volvo. While driving the engine temperture rises just below the dangerous red area, it'll then drop to normal and again after a short while rise to the red line again. I changed the thermostat but the problem continues. I thought that the radiator may not have enough anti-freeze in it to circulate properly, but because the radiator doesn't have a cap on it I can't check the level. Anyone have any ideas, clutch fan, water pump, or what?

Recently, i mamaged to procure a welll- mantained Austin Healey Sprite. Truth be told, its great; it drives like a charm and all. However, it does have a major flaw: its brakes. you see, the brakes are really old and faded. Therefore, i intend to change them to some brembos which an old friend of mine recommened. The thing is, i`m not sure if the brakes will fit. Also, i wanna change the rear drum brakes to the brembo disk brakes as well. Is this even possible? I`m talking about Singapore here. Thank you.

I had two stickers on my rear window and I have removed both but it left a imprint of the sticker, like the sun baked it into the window! I know about using goo gone (i think thats the name) to remove the adhesive but how can I remove the imprint? Its like a dark print of the sticker still on the window. Can I remove the imprint or am I just stuck with it there?

My car was sitting at an angle on the driveway and when I tried to start it today it would turn over but not start. The fuel tank showed empty which i knew it was not, so I rolled back onto the street where it was level and my gas gage moved up to 1/8 of the tank full.

Then I tried to start it, but it would only start when I rev'ed the engine and then would shut off. I would wait a 10 min and try again, I did this several times, until it started sounding worse, the engine would shake more. As soon as I stopped reving the engine would die. I added another gallon of gas and waited an hour but same problem. Did I damage the fuel pump?

I'm very broke right now and can't pay anyone to look at it. But I've never done much repairs myself on cars before. Any ideas?

I have an 02 nissan sentra. I have an aftermarket guage that lets me know when the oil is getting to hot. Whenever I drive on the highway within 30 minutes I would feel the gas pedal shake and the wheel and brake pedal will become stiff. it has enough antifreeze in it. When I drive it on the local roads it wouldn't act up like this.
