A couple of weeks ago my keyless entry remote that has worked fine for years stopped working. Around the same time (maybe exactly...), my car doors started automatically locking when I turned the key in the ignition. It has been at the shop recently...I'm not sure if they might have switched fuses or something. I replaced the batteries...still doesn't work. Please help!
(Please don't say "use the key!" I have 2 young children and when walking in a parking lot I do not feel comfortable letting go of their hands to put the key in the door!!)

You have changed batteries did you put them in correctly? Also check the fuses on the car make sure it hasn't blown other than that maybe the button is worn out
