how do i take off my lawn mower muffler?

Briggs&stratton engine 6.25hp how do i take it off without having the small pieces falling off (spark arrestor)

get a wrench big enough to take it off with and just unscrew it out.

why would you want to take off the muffler??

use a pipe wrench, get as close as you can to the flange...
