so i have an 07 civic si.... and i just got out of work about 20 min ago and saw that some dumb person left about a 3-4 inch, VERY noticable, dent. sooo i was wondering if anyone would know about how much it would cost to get that fixed?? considering that i would most likely go through honda to get it fixed or toyota.

Ballpark, I'm guessing about $500.

If the paint is not damaged or broken, you could try a company like Dent Wizards to remove the dent -- usually around 75-100.00 per panel for paintless dent removal or PDR service. Otherwise, take the car to some local bodyshops or dealers and get estimates to repair the dent and paint. Usually, when painting a panel like a door or fender, the paint has to be blended into adjacent panels for a good color match so the price could run 5-800.00. Just make sure the shop guarantee's their work.

depending where you live it could cost you in the region of U$500-1000. But you have to take it into a Honda bodyshop and only they'd know what damage has been done, they might be able to rapair the door skin and not charge you so much. On the other hand it might not be possbile to repair the damage and they have to replace the door skin and also blend in the other door with the paint. So you cant really tell how much it'll cost without having a look at it.

SINCE IT IS BRAND NEW IT WOULD LET THE DEALER REPAIR IT JUST TO PROTECT THE WARRANTY THAT THE MANUFACTURE GIVES YOU.

IF SOME OTHER SHOP REPAIRS IT AND YOU HAVE PROBLEMS AT A LATER DATE THE HONDA MANUFACTURE MAY NOT HONOR THE FACTORY WARRANTY.

ESTIMATE WOULD BE AROUND $500.00.
