1999 Chevy K-2500

Was puddle jumping and it died, sounded like it ran out of gas. Same thing happend, sputtering then died, couldnt get it to start. Killed battery a few times trying to get it to start.

It has:
Spark, Fuel, Good timing.

ANY idea's I would love. My buddy towed my truck home and I took all the sparkplugs out and cleaned, all wires are good. I was turning it over and my battery exploded so i'm going to try to get some feedback while my new battery charges.

The air seemed to have some water in it. But by now it is far dried out. It sat around for a day, had alot of turning over. Coughing and such. The battery is not a problem with the starting. It exploded after overcharging. Any idea's would be nice. Air is good, fuel is good, spark is good. It fires off and on. Its picky. Any idea's?

Puddle Jumping ?
You mean running through water?Have you looked into the air intake system ?Is there standing or puddled water anywhere on the motor or in the air intake ? Basically I'm saying maybe there's a lack of or restricted air flow . Just a thought considering the only element you missed in your post that could directly effect starting and is a necessary ingredient to produce an acceptable environment needed for the engine to start/fire is AIR !

you might want to check the battery cables to the starter. if your battery went boom, you might have had a hot ground. smell burning wires after it died?
