where I could get replacement parts from?

I am trying to fix a friends go-kart, and I am pretty sure that I have a vacum leak in the carburator from maybe a bad seal. I wanted to see if I could find some information on it before I just start taking it apart.

If you know of a store in Austin, Tx. that carries go-kart engine parts or manuals please post it here.

Thanks for any help submitted

The recommended maintenance schedule says it's time to change my sparkplugs now since it's been so many months, but not yet by miles. Should I change them now or wait until I hit the recommended mileage? I know it's "which ever comes first," and that makes sense to me for things like coolant and belts which will degrade over time no matter if the car is driven or not. But for things like sparkplugs and air filters?

96 Grand Marquis or Crown Victoria owners, have you had the same problem with wet carpet/undelayment. I can't find where it might be getting in at. It seems to be more wet near the passenger foot well and absorbing back toward the driver side wheel well. Any hints?

ok here is the deal, I have a 98 Chevy Cavalier. a few days ago the check engine light came on. I noticed a slight lack of power and a ticking in my engine. I pulled the spark plug wire off of cylinder #1 while the car was running and had no change in the engine. I then pulled off #'s 2-4 and the engine cycled down as it should. I presumed that cylinder 1 was bad. However a compression check on all four cylinders showed them to be just fine at 150 each. I changed all the spark plugs and the wires. All the spark plugs have gas on their little bottoms and all of the suckers spark like the dickens when I pull off the wires when the car is running. I changed fuel injector #1 and put it all back together and I still have nothing coming from cylinder #1...suggestions? helpful ideas? thoughts on where to get a new computer if that is it?

I'm about to change the plugs in my '98 Civic. The plugs appear very accessible and it should be an easy job, but are there any seasoned mechanics that have some general advice? I've heard to clean around the plugs with compressed air. What about anti-cease on the threads, or applying that jelly stuff (called?) where the wire connects?

I've just put on new master cylinder, rotor, drums, brake cylinders(left and right) the brake pads and shoes are fine.I've bled the breaks until there were no more air bubbles coming out the tube I've attach to the bleeder screw nipple using a brake bleeding kit (I've bled all 4 ) but the brakes still feel spongy ,I don't see any signs of brake fluid leek and I cant figer it out,why is it still spongy. should I try bleeding the brakes with the car running or with it off or do it matter will the pressure still be the same.
but what i do notice after I bleed the brakes and it tight it seems and feel like it all go away and go back to being spongy like it lost the pressure it had, while I'm driving it.

My husband recently purchased a used 2003 Chevy S10. He's trying to change the wheels out, but for some reason, he can't get the rear wheels off. He removed the lugnuts already, but there seems to be some sort of 'lock' in the center of the rim. He's tried hammering it to loosen it, and also spraying WD-40 on it, but it's not budging. Does anyone know anything about this?!? Thanks in advance for any help!

It's a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado 6 cyl.. It was driving fine...no problems. then last weekend it just didn't start, didn't make any sounds. So we relpaced the Battery. Then it started fine 2 or 3 times. Then nothing again. We jumped it and it started. But when we got it home it wouldn't start again and nothing. So we replaced the Alt. and still nothing. Where do we go from here?

Hey, I have seen a similar question, but here goes the saga. My 91 dodge caravan w/3.3L has in the infamous fuel rail leak. I got a hold of Dodge.com, but my year is not included in the recall, grrrrrrr. the local dodge dealer, they quoted me $340.00 for a new fuel rail, an online parts place quoted $255.00 Sorry folks, but for the life of me, i can not see why in the wide wide world of sports this part should cost so much. How can dodge be losing money if they charge this much for parts....Anyway, Instead of bending over and getting the Dodge Ram up my butt, i am gonna try to fix this thing myself. So far, i have taken off the fuel rail (fun) and gave it a good wire brushing, hmmm the thing is aluminum. it also appears, the 'ends' that hold the crossover tube have been soldered in place. Now, do I de-solder and look for replacement O-rings/seals? Do I solder them in place solid and lose the fuel rail flex which may hurt the re-install. Or are their external seals available?
