probably has a freon leak. Take it to the shop and get it repaired.

Cars stopped using freon in 1995 geniuses.
An easy check is to get a can of refrigerant with a built in gauge and follow the instruction exactly. If low r-134 wasn't the problem it will take a little more troubleshooting to figure out what's wrong. Low refrigerant can actually make the system too cold, and the coil freezes into a solid block of ice.
