people tell me that i would know if my car feels like its holding back, but what if i dont know if my car is holding back or not?
because i bought my car used and i dont know how the feeling is supposed to be, but ever since then, i have had my brakes changed before

My hood release cable has busted on my 1999 ford escort zx2. the latch is also rusted out. are there any alternatives other tyhan buying a new cable and latch? are there any parts that can hold my hood down without replacing them? thanks in advance for your help

I have a 1992 240sx, Manual transmission and was wondering what fits because the SR20DET is a swap and came with the alternator. Will the KA24 fit and what years? It would nice if someone had a list of what parts to use for the SR20. Thanks for the help.

I have three codes that it's throwing when I'm getting it checked. One is just that I'm going to fast so it doesn't matter. The other two I don't really understand. The first code is PO420 - Catalys System Effeciency Below Threshold. (?????) and the second main one is PO336 - Crankshaft sensor postition. I'm just now trying to get into cars and I'm really working hard on fixing these myself. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Email me or someting. My email I check daily is JimiLawrence@gmail.com. I have a Holley 650 double pumper and a Holley 600 vaccuum secondary type. Which would work best? This will be installed with an automatic tranny. I have a 289 manifold (cast iron). Will the stock fuel pump have the stones to supply these carbs?

I have about five, 1 to 1 and 1/2 foot long inch wide scratches, no dents in rear bumper. Needs to be sanded and painted. That's it.

How does a K&N airfilter claim that it increases the horsepower by 10 to 15 percent and don't read me the anwser off the back of your K&N airfilter box? The more air flow the better right? So why not just remove the filter all together? Just wondering what other peoples thoughts are on this. And yes, I know it's not reccomended to remove the air filter from your car.

I was filling up the car with gas, and checking the oil when I noticed the leak from under the radiator cap, it looks like it had leaked out about a cup of antifreeze. The over flow tank was full. I watched the high and low temperature guage and it stayed in the normal range it didnt get hot, the car has 104000 miles on it. It did'nt appear to have leaked any more when I checked it after i got home. what could it be a radiator cap, thermostat, any idea let me know, thx

I was trying to unscrew the bolt for my oil filter on my motorcycle and it stripped (the threads did not strip, the head of the bolt is striped; all gummed up so the socket just spins and can't grip it) I tried to pound a smaller sized socket on it but it wouldn’t go. I also tried using some vice grip pliers but that didn’t work ether. Please help me get this darn thing off of there.
