replace your o2 sensor

You can not through parts at this one. To many things can cause this code. First check the fuel pressure. Lab scope Oxegen sensor for resonse. Check MAP or MAF sensor. Leakinf Injectors. As you can see, this is why we charge for this.

What year,make,model? How many miles on it? More than likely it is a fuel injector(s?) problem. Or the MAP sensor or MAF sensor could be out of spec. No other codes?

i own a repair shop and id check the pressure regulator on it,this is what helps control the pressure and it will create a flooding condition on it,and that will cause it to be too rich on gas,good luck with it.

I agree with apitt72 opinion.

mechanic my whole life ,retired ,shop owner (ten mechanics on the floor) ASE master certification in gas and also Master cert. in diesel engines.
