it was temprimental for a while, i had to wait until the emobaliser light went out before it would start, now it will not start atoll and the central locking will not work. it is not the battery because the lights and radio still work

Whenever I go slow over a speed bump or bumps, potholes in the ground, I hear kind of a cracking noise in the front of my car like it's the suspension. Kind of like a metal on metal sound, and like something is loose.

I just started noticing this not too long after I got 17" rims on my 2000 toyota camry sedan.

Also, I had three people in my back seat who weigh 200 pounds apiece, and my back right tire started rubbing on my wheel well.. is that normal because it's just too much weight back there, or do i need to get my suspension checked?

Hi Friends

I was rear ended in dec 2006. A week after the accident my SRS light was on. Can it be because of the rear impact. Wahat could be the problem? How much does it cost to repair?

I have 91000 miles on it.

In very cold temps, my accelerator sticks while driving on the highway... it just freezes in place. If I take my car out of gear, the engine just continues reving.. what could be causing this, and what is the solution?

Does your honda start 50 percent of the time? Is it completly random at anytime during the day? For some reason after pumping gas it won't start. You hear the fuel pump working and it turns over just fine but the sucker won't start. And at times when it turns over it dies in a second or two.

I KNOW HOW TO FIX IT!! I've been going through the same problem for about 6 months on and off. i changed spark plug wires, distributor cap, new battery and cables and that didn't fix the problem. My car sounded healthy when it cranked but it wouldn't turn over! This would happen randomly no matter if it was hot or cold. The problem is the MAIN RELAY under the dash. They are known to go bad on hondas and acuras. When you turn the key you hear the fuel pump and after wards there should be a click at the main relay. If it doesn't click all the time the relay is bad. This is a good way to find the relay as well. turn the key to hear and feel where the relay is. here are a few links to help you change out the relay. i'm telling you after i changed this my car started every time!! Go to the honda dealer and buy a new one for about $69. On a 98 accord coupe ex v6 model the part number is 39400-S84-003. Do this before doing big jobs like changing the distributor or fuel pump. And do it yourself to save $$. Good luck guys!

The car has been stored and haven't been turned on for about 3-4 months and the gas has just been sitting there. Can I still add fuel stabilizers such as Sta-Bil to freshen up the gas or is it too late? If it is too late, do I need to suck out the old gas and replace it with new gas? I used Octane Rating 91 fuel if that helps.

My brakes started acting funny after I had the rooters replaced.I have to push them almost to the floor. I then relized that the brake fluid was almost empty. I filled it back up but nothing seemed to change. I've driven it about 10 miles since I filled the fluid. Will I eventualy see a change or am I out of luck?

My drive way connects to the Highway (60mph speed limit). When I try to excelerate from a stop to 60mph, my car refuses to shift from 1st gear into 2nd - no matter how fast or slow I drive it. Why? (It takes the entire trip - (4minute drive) and stoping at a stop light before it will finally shift into 2nd gear! (such a hassle!!) And last night when I started turning the corner (from the stop light), a LOUD "squeal" came from under the hood. I also noticed that when I was at a stop, with the car running/in drive, that my car is now quietly "squealling" as it runs. Any idea's? What to do? How to fix it? How much cost?

I backed into a white convertible (i think its a toyota but i dont know what model) with my truck. The truck is fine but there is a huge dent and scratch on the side of the car between the door panel and the tail light. I know a lot factors into the cost of repair but can i get a rough idea of the cost of fixing this dent?

Ok when it's super cold outside my Saturn Ion doesn't like to start. When I first try it doesn't do anything....all the electronic stuff comes on so I know it's not the battery. If I give it a few mintues it will start and then quit. So I give it another 5 - 10 minutes and then it finally starts. Any ideas what is wrong? I have to bring it in to Saturn on Monday and just want to get an idea on what they might tell me. Only serious answers please all others will be reported.
