check to see if you have spark at the plug,s while cranking..[remove a plug, plug the ignition wire on it,lay it on the block, crank the motor while observing the plug.] no spark? check your ignition.......now check for fuel delivery.......spray some carbureator cleaner in the air intake & crank.....if it start,s & die,s check your fuel filter, fuel pump.

first thing, hows the timing belt, then see if the fuel is reaching the injectors.check the fuel filter and run a test on the fuel pump.also have someone check for spark at the plugs, while you crank the engine.

I apologize if this seems like its a dumb question, but its not out of fuel, is it?

If it has fuel, and it will crank but not start, I would suggest that it is a fuel delivery or computer issue (or both). Have you had a check engine light on at all recently?

I had this problem with my Pontiac. I found out that the starter went out. Apparently, this is a common problem with Pontiacs, so you might want to see if you have a bad starter.
