How long should torision bars last? I got an 04 ranger and the front end is sitting a little low. The front is several inches lower than the rear. I tried adjusting them but the front dropped down after a couple of days.

Ok, I have a 95 subaru legacy. a few days ago, i went out to go to class and she wouldnt start. nothing, no door adjar, not turning over, completely dead. tried jumping her, she started right up, and about a half hour after shutting her off, i tried restarting her and she was completely dead again. i had just put a battery in her about 3 months ago, so i figured either that or the alternator. i jumped her and took her to advance and the guys said the alternator and battery were fine, but the terminals needed cleaned.

cleaned the terminals good as new and put jelly/grease stuff on them to keem em clean and she was fine the rest of the day and to go to class yesterday.
i come out this morning to go to work, the power locks sort of work, the radio doesnt come on, and the door adjar light doesnt come on, but the ding ding when you have a key in the ignition was making noise. i yelled at her and went back into the house. came out a few minutes later and opened the door and the door

I took my car to be repaired and they said the water outlet bleeder valve has gone bad and needs to be replaced. They said with parts and labor it would cost $358. Is this reasonable? Or is this a part I can pick up at Auto Zone and have my husband replace? He is mechanically inclined.

i drive my car for about 15 minutes and then it shuts off . then i have trouble starting it and if i does start if it goes past 2000 rpm it shuts off by its self

The reason I know it was 10w30 was because it was on receipt. I had asked them to use High Mileage 50W because that is what I have used for two years now. And I am very good about getting the oil changed withing the time limit suggested. I have always taken very good care of my car. It is a 1992 Mercury GM and has been in excellent condition with only 121,000 miles. I know that is a lot of mileage, but not for that old of a car. Anyway, I told the car repair shop exactly what it was doing, shouldn't they have been able to tell it was something other than a radiator hose ? And would going from a high mileage 50W oil to a 10W30 oil cause it to overheat ?

That's the noise I hear when I use my brakes. Any ideas what could be causing it? Saturn 97 SL Can I still drive it? The brakes are working, but of course Thump thump thump is not normal.

My truck makes a clanking sound, Is it possible its my water pump going up?
it doesnt do it all the same but when it does I can hear it and almost feel it on my feet. kinda like something hitting the bottom of the car.

I hate my car with a passion. I just had to replace the battery, and then a day after I do that the starter motor gives up, and now my new battery is flatter than a pancake and my starter motor is still not working. Where can I get a mechanic in Hornchurch Essex who will not drain my bank ballance to fix my hunk of junk. Already bought a starter motor but dont have tools for replacement.

So tonight as I was driving home, it is about 8 degrees outside and the snow is blowing, behind me I have this idiot driving on my bumper with his bright lights on. I reach up to flip my rear view mirror so that his lights are not in my eyes and it falls off of the windshield! Now what am I supposed to do? In all of the years I have been driving this has never happened to me. Is there something I can buy to put it back? And do I have to wait until it is warmer outside? I am completely lost.

I have a question. I went to Autozone for a free diagnostic. I asked the man if I can get the free diagnostic to see if there were anything wrong with my car. He said no because they don't offer it here ( California ). Is it true that Autozone offer the free service nationwide or just certain states ?
