metric cresent wrench, brake light pushrod, seat spring re-tensioner, headlight fluid, throttle position alignment bearing, My favorite came from a car salesman that told me they couldn't put a v8 in a ford explorer because the wheels would rub on the motor.
when they say stupid stuff like that I always look right at them and say " can you write that down because that has to be the dumbest Schnit I have ever heard"

I've been having a hard time getting my 710 cap off. I was using my standard adjustable wrench but I guess I need a metric. My radio wasn't working very well so I put some frequency grease on the antenna to help the signal slide through but it didn't help. The problem may be with my Cadillac converter. I'll adjust my Johnson rod and get back to you.

muffler bearings do exist. the early dodge stealth had a kind of a 2 stage exhaust system with an electrically operated flap and motor at the entrance to a muffler, that opened and closed depending on eng rpm, and veh speed. these flaps were mounted to shafts that had a small bearing at each end. as you may expect, these bearings bound up due to exhaust carbon and trash, and they became noisey and inoperable. this is true, so there is really a such a thing as a muffler bearing; to repair, you had to replace the muffler.
