no,it doesn't,,that a myth that got started a long time ago,it wont make run any faster than if its not waxed,i don't know who actually started this one ,but there's no truth to it at all ,just another one of those things that gets started ,and never dies off,good luck i hope this help,s.

You will go faster and have better fuel efficiency with less air resistance, but you won't notice the difference as the variables are so minute.
