I have an audi 1994 cs 100
There is a slight leak in the resivoir not a big leak and not a huge deal. I believe there is a leak like a weep hole somewhere near the water pump. What would be a fair price to make a similar repair to this one? I def. know that it is not leaking from the radiatior. What else could it be and how much should I be ready to pay for?

and the car overheated for a second, smoke coming out of what appeared to be the Coolant Resovoir.. I Just had a radiator and water pump put on last year..Our temperature here in KY has dropped to below freezing in the last week or so. Do you think my thermostat is frozen?

car has been running fine apart from a bit of white smoke when cold then clearing but all of a sudden water noises could be heard from the heating system then water started pouring from back of console and steam pouring out of the vents,when checked the wter was completley empty i topped up put the heating on and the same happened again hope some one can help me with this

The car is parked outside in Ohio where it's been single digits.
Yesterday it struggled to start, it cranks but wouldn't start for some time.
Then after being parked again for some time it wouldn't start at all. Even a jumpstart didn't help.

What could be the problem?

i accidentally hit the curb while driving, and now my wheel is slightly lopsided. not majorly, you can barely see it, but the ride is extremely bumpy. its an old borbet c type rim, and they dont sell them anymore. and ideas as to where i could find a new one?

At which point does automobile fuel - gasoline and diesel fuel freeze? Where I'm at the temperature's been just below zero for the past couple days - I was wondering how cold it'd have to get before the fuel started to freeze.

Well my dad has bought a petrol car(Swift) 5 months back ,he dosnt know any thing about automobiles and he stratgy is Break down maintanence ,the first service was done after 100 km but i was adviced its better to change the engine oil after 1000 but we have done 1500 km still oil is not changed after the first 100km ,ist dangerous for the engine in case if i need to change the oil can u please give me suggestion and how to maintaing a car which is not being used .

My front right marker lens is cracked, but there is no white light seen when the lights are on. Would my car still pass inspection?

I'm having some problems with the defrost/heater in the car. There is a slider that lets you either let fresh air from outside in, or you can set it the other way to circulate the air inside the car.

I had it set to circulate inside for about 5 years straight. About the 3rd year after I had started the car one day, smoke or steam came rolling out the defrost vents. And now, if I turn the heater on to vent, where it comes out of the front of the dashboard, heat comes out, but it smells stale. I do also smoke in my car, so i'm wondering if that has anything to do with the smoke coming out the defrost vent? Since I set it to let fresh air in, I havent seen anymore smoke. But because of the stale smell, I was told to ask my mechanic to replace the "cabin filter". Can anyone provide me some more info?

Ok this is complicated. Before I go to the mechanic I need some advice. My Car works fine sometimes. When I am driving everything is working fine. When I hit bumps on the road, I hear a clicking sound and the door controls, rear window heating, the radio all turn off. When the car is in parking everything works fine. As soon as I put the car in reverse or drive, radio,rear window heating, the door window controls and door lights turn off, and the Steering wheel stiffings up. But sometimes when I hit bumps everything but the radio works. I changed the Power Steering pump and pulley that didn't work. Some one said it could be the motor mounts. Help! Thanks in advance.

I can start the car once fine but then when i go to switch it off and turn it back on the starter keeps turning even with the ignition turned off if i pull the batter cables it quits but as soon as i touch a cable to a battery post it starts turning over again im at a loss becuase it keeps doing this even with the ignition off and the clutch disengaged ++if anyone has info on a low milage 87 H.O. motor for sale in the green bay wisconsin area i would like to know preferably not modified++

i had to stop like 7 time because my car was over heating. weird thing was it was happening very fast. i started the car in the morning. left it for about 2 minutes and when i got in it was fine(temp) then about 3 blocks from my house the gage jumped too the red zone. pulled over and let it cool down. went again bout 2 miles this time and over heating again. so i kept driving and stopping driving and stopping every few miles. i though cars took a long time to over heat... like sitting in traffic and driving long trips... i work 10-13 miles from home and took me 2 hours to get there. normaly its 20 min trip . also when i stopped to let the car cool. i would turn the car completely off and it would be making this loud banging noise like someone was hitting my engine with a bat! as it would cool the sound would get quieter and quieter. and once i got real close to work it was like gurgling. and it died. got it towed to grandpas and he said it started but they havent looked at it yet HELP
