I just took out a 350 tranny out of my 77 chevy c-10 and was wondering if I could put a 350 turbo instead?

A 350 and Turbo 350 transmission are one in the same. The only differences are in the Bell Housing bolt configurations and if it is a Lock-Up Converter type transmission with an electrical plug on the drivers side or not. The one you need is the Chevy bolt pattern not the "BOP" case (Buick,Olds,Pontiac). Yours comes to a point at the top instead of a "U" between the top bolts.

you could the only difference is the 350 turbo has cooling system in the transmission and it also goes to the radiator...so check your lines and see if the 350 tranny is lines are alike the 350turbos if not then you'll also need a radiator that runs your transmission fluid to the radiator...
