i have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 V8 magnum(5.2 liter gas engine)the truck has broke down 4 times in the past week. every time the truck has broken down it is acting like it is not getting enough gas. heres the catch though. after it breaks down if u let it set for a couple hours u can start it back up n it will run perfect until it breaks down again. i have had it to a garage and hooked it up to a mechanical diagnostic machine and everything tested fine. i have put a new fuel filter and new sparkplugs in it. the fuel injection has been checked and there is no water build up or any type of clogging in that or any of my wires. this truck runs perfect but after every 100 or so miles it will break down and act like it is out of gas. it will start back up in a couple of hours after that though. i have done everything i could to this truck besides the electrical and it still continues to break down. would the problem be electrical and could somebody please tell me wat is wrong with my truck

My check engine light came on today in my truck which has 103K miles. I took it to auto zone and they said the camshaft position sensor is what was causing the light to come on. They said it's probably throwing off the timing of the truck and when I replace the sensor I'll have to have the timing redone. What does that mean. Is it expensive. Would it be better to just trade the car in and not waste the money on a truck with over 100K miles that has a few other corky problems---lock cylinder broken, heat/air only works when set to blow at 3 or higher, front left tire making horrible noise when reversing and accelerating.

I have two 1974 Batavus Mopeds and one of them needs a new exhaust pipe (just that pipe I have a muffler). Does anyone know what pipe of what model of any moped I could use as a substitute? Puch Maxi's wont work because there exhaust manifold is facing down, mine is facing down with a certain angle towards the frontwheel. Any help is much appreciated!

So i was driving home from school, and when i got home, i realized that my handbrake had been on the whole drive back!! I had forgot to turn off the handbrake.....first of all, can a car even go 60 mph with the handbrake on, cuz i did, and second, what damage may have been done? (it might be possible that i'm imagining all this and i simply pulled the handbrake when i got home but never realized that i did...but u never know)

I went to North Dakota for a wedding last month and I saw ALOT of vehicles blowing out black and blue smoke, broken winshields, ect....I mean, some cars, driving behind them was like a skunk in your face!
In NY, I have to do these inspection/emissions tests. Shouldn't everyone be required to do these tests? How dumb this is, really??? Just because there are a half million people living in that WHOLE state doesn't mean they can have cars blowing out crap.
Does anyone know the logic behind this?
thanks!

in my 1994 mitsubishi expo when the brake is not on...then after awhile it shuts off...the guy at firestone said the brake fluid was dirty and a little low, but he couldn't just change it or add more in , he would have to check for a leak in the system first , and that would cost about $600...but when he dipped his finger in it and I drove away, it shut off...It did this again today and after warmed up , it shut itself off..

DOes anyone know about biodiesel?...One biodiesel supplier said i should get a full service very near to when car was due for servicing - couldn't say when - didn't want to give the wrong answer?. Yet another said just change the fuel filter after 2 tanks. He had a landy that packed up after 4 1/2 tanks without fuel filter change. Is a blocked filter likely to affect my car starting in the morning? Not sure if I can change it myself, just ordered the Haynes manual - should i be tampering with it - as a complete novice? My MOT is due in March, so thought i could save pennies with booking both together.
