I own a 1999 Peugeot 306 1.8xs the back light has failed on the rotary switch that selects witch vents the air comes out of.
If anyone can tell me an easy way to access the bulb that has failed it would be much appreciated

In an Escort you have to take the facia off the dash to get to the switches. They then pull out from behind.

Couldn't tell you if its the same with you mate, but I would recommend getting a Haynes Manual, theyre very concise with all the info your ever going to need regarding repairs etc - Cheaper than going to a garage too

Need to pull the switch, but first see if you can gain access by getting at it from the back side. It's a pain to stand on your head to do this, but any work under the dash is a pain.
