Sidewall punctures are NEVER repairable. Replace the tire. If you have All-Wheel-Drive or some types of 4WD, be prepared to replace all four tires.

I have worked in the tire industry for 5 years - I'm not guessing!

Sidewall punctures are non-repairable .The reason is that the sidewall is always flexing and twisting,so as no patch can hold ,they also have to buff the rubber which makes the wall thinner (very unsafe) .As for a plug again weaking sidewall not good spreas radial bands further apart.Try tirerack.com for tire and ask for list of local dealers.

You most likely need a new tire.

Usually holes in the sidewall cannot be fixed. They could put a patch on it and it would hold air but the flexing the sidewall does as you drive down the road would cause the patch to fail and possibly cause an accident. That is why no shop will patch a sidewall, just to much liability.

Punctures in the side wall cannot be replaced. You will have to buy a new tire...

Punctures in the tread are repairable.

heres an idea the tire is shot but if your short on cash you may be able to throw a patch on the inside and buy a radial tube to put in it to get you by for a little while
