Ok this is complicated. Before I go to the mechanic I need some advice. My Car works fine sometimes. When I am driving everything is working fine. When I hit bumps on the road, I hear a clicking sound and the door controls, rear window heating, the radio all turn off. When the car is in parking everything works fine. As soon as I put the car in reverse or drive, radio, rear window heating, the door window controls and door lights turn off, and the Steering wheel stiffings up. But sometimes when I hit bumps everything but the radio works. I changed the Power Steering pump and pulley that didn't work. Some one said it could be the motor mounts. Help! Thanks in advance.

Hmm, not sure what that is about. Best bet is to take it to a mechanic, explain the problem, and have them look at it.
I had a 95 Ford Taurus, and apparently that year car had problems with the trans. slipping. Ford Taurus is just a bad car altogether.

My friend u have an electical problem caused by a mechanical one. How and y? well first off a mechanical problem is one that is present and gets worse, like say for example ur brakes, they just started to squeek a little bit, 3 to 7 days later there squeeking a bit more and louder and so on until u replace or repair them. An electrical problem is one that happens all of a sudden and without warning, immediately. But there's a catch to electical, when u go to tell a service person about it and try to duplicte what u've been experiencing chances r u won't. It's like someone playing with a light switch with u. But u wanted some advice. First look at ur motor mounts. Do they look cracked and deteriated. if so they need to be replace. u can also have someone in the car moving the shifter from P to R to N then to D and u observe how the actual engine is moving or not. If it moves like how an obese person walks by shifting their weight then i would say motor mounts. If not poke around somemore. If u have access to a manual for ur car look in the electrical wiring diagrams sections and fine ur model type. Find the componets that u say r spazing out on u and trace its origin, power source, where ever it came from. Chances r since mutiple accessories r showing syptoms simutamioulsy they all might share a common component or wire. This is not an easy task nor is it a very hard task. It is time consuming and can be frustrating. Tracing the wirers is like driving on a road that changes names. Yup the color of the wires will change on u and u might find out that ur problem is nothing more than a loose connection, bad ground, blown fuse, bad fuseable link, or no battery. lol ok just kidding about the battery

What you have is a Typical Ford Problem.
The Bulleton Boards a full of the symptons you listed and many other Ford Models.
Be very spacific on eveyr thing the car does speeds.
Trade it in if the dealer can't fix it.
NExt Go buy a Chevy. you will have a lot less problems.

i own a repair shop, and it sounds just like a broken mount ,possibly even both of them may be bad,and what its doing is making it break ground, that's why your loosing all this stuff, when the engine settles back down the ground comes back and everything works again, basically all i think you might need is new mounts, that's about it from what you just told me,id tell the mechanics to check these first, there not that bad to put in,and they don't cost a fortune ,so they cant over charge you for them, good luck ,i hope this help,s.

They are great cars but are not made to last too many years. Usually things start falling apart around120,000 miles. The electrical things seem to go first. That has been my experience. Also, once one thing starts going, many things go. I love the Taurus and if I could afford to buy one every other year, I would. They are great but not long lasting.
