Its a 95000km Malibu and I just spent $2000 CAD a month ago to get a new engine told that its all messed up, but the "engine has problem" light keeps going on and off even after that but I was too busy to ignore that.

Now the wheather is getting cold and whenever I start my car, the sound is just weird like it chokes a few seconds before being able to turn on. And yesterday I tried starting my car and it wouldn't start, I don't know if just the battery's dead because I don't think I left anything turned on for the night and I get no sound at all and all lights goes off when I tried to turn it on instead of the choking noises, please help the car is stuck in my garage and i need it for work, thanks!

so i was trying to pull a large mobile home type thing up a steep hill with my 1 ton ford pickup, and then all of a sudden, it wouldnt go. it appears that it suddenly lost most, if not all of the transmission fluid from down by the torque converter. can i just add some tranny-stop-leak or something to make it all better?

I have a new toyota camry and only the back windows won't go down. Driver and passenger in front work. Each window has its own fuse. Driver Window has a 30AMP and the other three have 20amp fuses. All fuses are GOOD!!! Tried the lock switch, no luck. I also used the drivers switch and each switch in the back but no luck. This car is new and I never use the back windows. Any ideas will help.

i just got a 90 jeep cherokee, and it overheats like crazy. and all of the torque converter bolts were coming out. everyone i know who owns a jeep hates it and has tons of problems. yesterday, when my new jeep overheated, the upper radiator hose actually exploded, not much left but shreds of torn rubber, and the radiator cap never even blew off any pressure

Considering applying diluted antifreeze to door frames and glass prior to next ice/sleet/freezing rain/snow storm to prevent or reduce accumulation or at least reduce potential for frozen doors and windshield ice accumulation.

When I change gear while driving as usual, the clutch pedal did not come back to its original position after I raise my foot. I stop my car and found that the pedal has lost its spring kind of function and I can no longer gear my car while the engine is running. (ok if the car engine is off). I have no idea what is going on and would somebody please tell me what is happened? Many thanks

What could be the problem? I had my alternator tested, starter, and battery tested and they were fine.

were installed on my 2000 chevy blazer? Were both front 20" or is the passenger side supposed to be shorter? I have noticed that the passenger side blade almost hangs over the side of the windshield even though the catalog says that is the size it needs.

Yesterday as I was driving home, My engine "emparature light" came on and then the "Service Engine Soon Light" Came on. The car was making a rattling or ticking noise when I would rev the engine. When I stopped, underneath the hood, the engine was smoking pretty good. One of my friends said it could be my thermostat going bad. He said when it's cold like this time of year those things are usually one of the first things to go.
If anyone has any opinions please feel free to reply.

Thanks,
Justin

I bought a car from a car lot and they said they would fix a certain mechanical problem. Four months later, I found out that their mechanic never fixed it and took off and is missing. They said I have to go after their mechanic, but I don't think that is correct. Aren't they responsible to fix what they said they would fix.

Hi, I recently posted a problem with my Peugeot 106 1.1 XN Zest 1999 T-Reg. It kept cutting out and was very sluggish when pulling away etc.

I had a mobile mechanic out yesterday and he said it could be my crank sensor (not sure if I've spelt that correctly). He did a test on it, which I think was the resistance on it or something and it came up at around 503, which he said he wasn't sure but he thought it was low and may need replacing.

So my question is, does anyone know what the correct value should be for the resistance if the crank sensor is running correctly?

Thank you for any help.
Gareth.

So I know the normal idle engine RPM would be somewhere close to 1,000-2,000 RPM.

So i start up my bike tonight. It took me a while to start up 'cause it is a very cold night.
After I started it up I used half chock to keep it running for a while.
then after about a min. I turn the chock off and let it run.
AT FIRST, the idle engine speed was 1,500 RPM. So it's totally fine.
BUT after the engine reaches normal temperature, my idle speed is 5,000RMP!!!!!!!
I didn't adjust anything yet, 'cause it was a really cold night.
Is there something wrong with my bike? (ninja 250)
If i adjust the RPM down, does that mean before the engine reaches normal temp. it will run at an extremely low RPM?

ALl inputs welcome.
