I just replaced the optispark as well as the coil?

It may be bad if it stays out late, comes home smelling of tobacco or alcohol, or is seen hanging out with a rough crowd. Maybe it's bad because of it's environment. Try putting it into a newer Camaro.

Usually it will tell you itself when you do a computer diagnosis on it as it will either fail to give you a code readout, or it will give you the specific codes that indicate that it is bad. Intermittent problems however are common on these series of GM computers. What sort of problems are you having that make you think the computer is at fault??? Usually it is not the computer as more common problems usually take priority. The wiring harness where it plugs up to the computers on these GM's is often troublesome and you can try wiggling that around some as well. More info would allow us to give you a better answer. :-)

you cant jut tell

it takesepcial electronic testing equipment to test a computer

welcome to the world of owning computer controlled vehicles

take it to the dealer or other shop with the proper testing equipment

if not then sell or part it out or trade it for something else
