Approach! It's an odor eliminator spray and it's amazing! I had something similar happen to me at a gas station on a road trip to Florida (i'm in CT). I keep it in my car for any 'bad smells' from my friends, but decided to see if it'd take the gas off my hands and the bit of carpet it hit, and it completely eliminated it!
Pour it on the carpet stains, spray it on surfaces, it will get rid of it all and it'll never come back!
Give it a try it's the only solution, and it has NO harsh chemicals so it won't hurt the car!

this happened to me a few weeks ago. I used laundry soap and water and scrubbed it out so it wouldn't start on fire, then left my windows down for a few hours. the smell evapourated after a while. I also took out my floor mats and threw them in the washer. and hung them out to dry. although if u do that i advise you to run a couple of soapy water loads through so your laundry doens't stink like gas too

you,ll need to shampoo it really god,and use a good wet dry vacuum cleaner on it,to pull all the loose out of it,,then air dry it,and spray it down real good with fe-breeze,,it will take a while for all the smell to go away,,but if you do this,,it will make it go away a lot faster,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

you get rid of gas with gas
pour LOTS of gas in your car(allover your seats and floor)
and take your lighter and flick it over your seats without making a flame......the sparks from the lighter make a chemical reaction and the gas smell is gone :)
lol.
