I just bought a R/C '71 Z28 Camaro (Scale 1:8) and I was wondering if theres any good place here in Tulsa, Oklahoma or any place I can ship it off to and have a bigger eletric motor in it to make it run faster? and would it be possible to do that? It runs great, I just want more speed on it. Any help would be great, like any sites that might have some info. on this.

ok. i have a honda civic 1990 DX . i bought a clutch for abou 130. ok that was the easy part, i got this guy to install it and he put it in but he told me that this was his first time dealing with a cable tranny so anyways he puts it and i go and pick it up and i test drive he even told me that he thinks he did it wrong .. the speedometor does work and it is really hard to change into gears especially 1st and 2nd. what do you think is the problem should i go to clutch or would cost a lot of money or the dude said in two weeks he will work on it and find out what went wrong. see the thing is i am in high school and i aint got a job. do you know what is wrong.. thanks

1 of my four tires is a different tire and different tread pattern. I installed new wheels/tires today and I feel the steering pull to the right. Could this be because one tire is of a different tread pattern? Thanks.

When I come to a stop, my car will sometimes shudder, then the check engine light will come on, and my entire car will stop moving. I can hit the gas pedal and nothing happens. I have to restart my car every time, and while that does the trick, I fear that it's doing damage to my car. I went to Midas and had it looked at, and they told me to take it to a transmission shop. So I did, and they replaced a selenoid, and said that would take care of the problem. Well, my car is STILL sometimes stalling when I come to a stop. I'm getting super desperate here, because nobody seems to know what they're talking about. Can anybody please help me?

I think my 2000 daewoo lanos might have blown its head gasket. The engine is running very rough (the car shales a lot) and uneven. This started 2 nights ago after a 10 minute drive when i was parking the car, so it seemed to happen randomly.

The next day i turned it on but didn't try to move it. It was still shaking a lot and there was white smoke coming from the back of the car and it smelled sweet. I've checked the oil and it does not look strange to me but my coolant tank smells like gasoline.

The oil level has dropped to the halfway point of the dipstick since the last time i checked it a week earlier (which never happens) when it was a little above max, though i did take a 300 mile trip in the meantime. I've also been losing coolant (and refilling) these last couple of weeks and would find small or no puddles.

I know there are a lot of factors involved here but any insight (esp. on sealing fluids) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading and for any replies.

I just installed a new car MP3 / CD Player and I don't drive very far or very often, sometimes the car can be unused for a week. Normally it will start right away, but after taking out my old Car Music System and replacing it with a new one the battery seems to die quickly.

I did however remove the car battery and hook it up to an electronic charger with 4 LED lights that show the 4 stages of charging. Left it on for 15 hours so far and it's still on stage 2 - it works backwards and starts on stage 4, then 3 until you get to 1 and then you know it's fully charged, but it's still on 2 after 15 hours and you can hear a lot of bubbling sounds from the battery. The battery is 6 years old so I figure it's time to replace it anyway but I was wondering what might be the problem with the battery. I have turned off the charging now as it didn't quite sound right and wanted to make sure there wasn't an explosition or anything like that.

thanks everybody for the answers...i was gonna change the thermostat today but the housing bolts wouldn't budge..and if i would break them i would have to drill them out..tricky>>
Is there a trick to getting them out...i want to with the cheapest solution first.

i have a 1990 Dodge Omni with a 4 Cyl 2.2L motor with only 105,000 miles on it and today i want to start it befor i went to work and it run for like 10 second and died out so i turned the key off and tryed to start it again and it started right back up and run good for like 5 mins and when i was walking out of my house it died out again so i tryed to restart it and all it dose and crank and crank but don't start and the last 6 months i have put new timeing belt new coil and fuel pump and fuel pump relay and back in Oct i put new spark plugs new spark plugs wire new cap and rotor and new pick up coil right now the car don't have a muffler on it but i no that would not stop it from runing please kelp any ideas???

I'm an American--I'm near Mexico City. My Maxima that has 70,000 miles is making a sound when I accelerate--sounds like, "puh, puh, puh"--something like that. Seems like it is on the right side of motor. The dealer here said it is because the 3 motor mounts are broken, but it sounds like air is escaping. Any ideas? Someone in the States mentioned the exhaust manifold--I have no idea what that is. If it is the ex. man., would the repair be expensive and/or extensive? Any other ideas as to the problem? Thanks for any help.

My "check engine" light came on, so I took my car to AutoZone for the free diagnostic test. They said the problem was an oxygen sensor. Can anyone give me a general idea of what this would cost to fix?

My check engine light was on and was an o2 sensor before the catalyst code. I changed the o2 sensor and it came back on after about 3 drives. I replaced the o2 sensor again thinking it may have been a bad one and again the check engine light come back on indicating the same problem. What else could this be?
