If more tape hasn't worked,:Finger or finger nail to get the big gunk off (GENTLY!!!!), then wash repeatedly with car wash...then, if there is still that sticky haze rubbing compound is your only solution. Just be very careful about your clear coat, some cannot take rubbing compound. In that case, I would go get it detailed. It's a treat for you to have your car detailed anyway, Lord knows I would never shampoo my seatbelts! LOL
Good luck, HTH.

please do not use alcohol or paint thinner. find a simple liquid paint cleaner wax, etc. mothers, mequires, and apply to area with a nice soft cloth. rub on the tape in nice circular motions. the tape will indeed break down, and lift off no prob.

I'm not sure why you have tape marks on your car.....hmmmm

The way to remove it is to use more tape. The fresh tape has fresh solvent on it and will lift the original glue. Use fresh tape and gently wipe after removing it

Repeat until clean.

The gummy residue from scotch tape can be easily removed with rubbing alcohol.
