YES because when the engine does not get enough fuel to perform the way you want it to so you push on the throttle more which will allow more air to go in without more fuel because a clogged fuel filter will only let so much fuel go through. The engine will run lean. When you run a engine lean it creates more heat therefore it will over heat. And if you do this for an extended period of time it will burn holes in your pistons. Fuel filters are cheap compared to a new engine, and should be replaced every 10,000 to 15,000 miles.

No it won't. A clogged fuel filter will shut your vehilce off and/or make it not start.
A car running hot, typically can be traced back to your radiator. I had this issue with my 1993 Volvo. Easy Fix.

Yes, somewhat. If the filter is really plugged, the fuel mixture will be lean. A lean mixture burns hotter. You should also notice a loss of power to some degree.

THE ANWESR TO YOUR QUESTION IS NO A CLOGED FUEL LINE WILL NOT MAKE YOUR CAR RUN HOT THE ONLY THING A CLOGED FUEL FILTER WILL DO IS STOP YOUR CAR FROM RUNNING LIKE IT SUPPOSE TO BECAUSE ITS NOT LETTING IT GET THE GAS THAT IT NEEDS TO RUN PROPPER, BUT HERE ARE A COUPLE OF THINGS THAT WILL MAKE YOUR CAR RUN HOT AND THE FIRST ONE IS YOU COULD HAVE A BAD THERMOSTAT AND THE SECOND ONE IS YOUR HEAD GASKET COULD BE GOING BAD SO MY ADVISE TO YOU IS TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT BEFORE ITS TO LATE AND YOU BURN THE MOTOR UP OR SOMETHING

Why do people always blame the thermostat when that is rarely the cause of heating. When an engine overheats the first place to look is the radiator. If you have a heating problem don't go to an auto repair go to a radiator shop. They will usually check your radiator at no cost.

No. It will make the car run lean but not enough to make the car run hotter.
